What I get to look at outside my window everyday

Sorta... the mountains definitely look like this, but I don't really have the pretty temples!

Korea during this time of year is absolutely stunning. We went hiking yesterday in some mountains about an hour away, and the views were just awesome. Today was the first time I've ever seen mass amounts of trees that have changed colors. Nature is amazing.

Today marks the beginning of my final 2 weeks of 'teaching'. And of those 10 working days, there are 3.5 days of no class. Pretty friggin sweet. It just brings me that much closer to an awesome winter vacation, and to the end of my contract. Weird...

I'm still taking Spanish lessons online with Celas Maya. I think I'm slowly improving, but it makes me realize how inadequate the years of Spanish in high school really were. It's simply really hard to learn a language when you're not immersed in it - which is why I'm planning on studying at Celas Maya in Guatemala next spring. And it's also why I've changed the preferred language on my computer and my facebook profile to Spanish (it's not much, but every little bit helps). (:

And in honor of all the recent election hype, I shall close with some wise words from my homeboy Mark Twain (I apply this quote to amy media in general) that one should remember...

"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper,
you're mis-informed." — Mark Twain
